Weeks, not months

Lighting showroom software implementation

Timing depends on locations, data, and workflow. Most teams should plan in weeks rather than a long software project that sits in a conference room.

What the plan includes

What weeks, not months actually covers

We do not publish a fixed day count. The work below is the shape of implementation, sized to your showroom.

Setup

Locations, users, and the operating defaults your floor already uses. The goal is a system that matches how you sell, not a blank template you have to invent.

Catalog and data review

Product data, pricing, and the records you need on day one. Our first implementation loaded nearly 900,000 catalog items across more than 100 brands, so catalog size is not the blocker.

Locations

Showroom, warehouse, and any additional floors. We review how inventory and orders move between them before you train the whole team.

Tax rules here

Tax by delivery location or delivery type.

Payments integration

Payments are part of implementation, not a later project. Stripe connects to the order so a deposit, pay in full upfront, or an order set to be invoiced in the future can be taken in the same workflow.

Training

Sales, purchasing, and receiving learn the same order path. Training stays short because the software follows lighting showroom work, not a generic retail script.

Payments

Stripe on the floor, and other processors if you need them

Stripe is the default POS integration because it is competitive for taking payments across storefront types, and it supports custom payment types with a robust dashboard and its own reporting.

All storefront types

Take payment on the showroom floor, for trade and project work, and anywhere the order is closed. Retail checkout and longer lighting jobs use the same Stripe connection.

Custom payment types

A deposit, pay in full upfront, or an order set to be invoiced in the future should post against the same order. Stripe is built for those payment types, not only a single cash drawer sale.

A dashboard with its own reporting

Stripe brings a robust dashboard and reporting of its own, so finance can see settlements, disputes, and payouts without exporting a stack of paper receipts.

Open to other payment services

If your showroom already runs another processor, we are open to a custom integration. Name the service you use and we will plan around it the same way we do catalog and accounting connections.

Cloud, backup, and security

99.99% uptime, on the same cloud the top companies use

You are not leaving paper for a server in a closet. Data is backed up. Security sits on the same cloud technologies used by the top companies in the world.

99.99% cloud uptime

Showroom Ignite runs in the cloud so the floor, warehouse, and office can reach the same order. Uptime is 99.99%.

Data is backed up

Orders, catalog, and customer records are backed up. The paper file is no longer the only copy of the job.

Security of the top companies

Security sits on the same cloud technologies used by the top companies in the world. Your showroom runs on that stack, not a server in a closet.

Scale is already proven

Nearly 900,000 catalog items were loaded in the first implementation at Butler Lighting. That is the same figure we use on the partners page, and it is the proof that catalog volume is a data job, not a reason to wait months.

Catalog partners and custom connections

Lights America and other catalog sources can connect. If you use a different provider, we build around what you already have.

More than the catalog

Marketing, accounting, payments beyond Stripe, and e commerce tools can connect as well. Name what you run today and we will plan around it.
